On January 8, 2022 at 10:23 PM GMT, attackers compromised LCX's Ethereum hot wallets and transferred $7.94 million in assets including ENJ, LINK, SAND, and stablecoins. Funds were converted within 45 minutes; LCX recovered ~60% through law enforcement.
The LCX exchange tweeted that LCX's technical team detected an unauthorized access on the LCX platform, nearly $8 million in encrypted assets were stolen, and about 60% were frozen.
