On June 28, 2021, SafeDollar's staking pool on Polygon was exploited via incompatibility with deflationary tokens. The attacker used flash-loaned PLX to deplete the contract's actual balance to ~2 tokens while maintaining inflated deposit records, causing the reward formula to mint massive SDO amounts. These were sold for ~$248K in USDC and USDT.
The algorithmic stablecoin project SafeDollar on Polygon is suspected of being hacked, and an unconfirmed contract seems to have taken away 250,000 USD in USDC and USDT.
